Ann Curry, reporter for NBC News, will be returning to her alma mater, the University of Oregon, to present the 2013 Ruhl Lecture on Ethics Thursday, Feb. 28. The lecture is free and open to the public, and will be held in the Giustina Ballroom at the Ford Alumni Center at 1720 E. 13th Ave.
Curry’s lecture topic is “Journalism: An Act of Faith in the Future. Pre-registration is required for the free event, and tickets will be required upon entry. The university recommends reserving seats early, due to a limited number of available seats. Registration can be done at http://journalism.uoregon.edu/ruhl-lecture.
Curry will take questions from the audience after the lecture, and those who are watching the live stream on the School of Journalism and Communication website can submit question on Twitter using hashtag #Ruhl2013.
