LCSO Deputy Named Oregon Marine Patrol Officer of the Year

Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) Deputy Jon Bock was named Oregon Marine Patrol Officer of the Year for 2013. The Oregon State Marine Board presented Bock with the award for his contributions to training, involvement at the state level, and his dedication to marine education and enforcement.

The LCSO Marine Patrol Unit earned the most awards out of the 32 counties that contract with the state, also earning awards for excellence in maintenance of fleet and aquatic invasive species enforcement.

LCSO Marine Patrol patrols 45 lakes, three rivers and three miles of the Oregon Coast.
