After winning seven in a row and 9 of their first 11 games, the high-scoring University of Oregon Women’s Basketball team came back to earth Friday night, scoring just 66 points in a loss to #4 Stanford on the road.

The Ducks (9-3, 0-1 Pac-12) shot just 33.8% from the floor despite a double-double from Jillian Alleyne (26 points, 13 rebounds). Prior to tonight’s game, the Ducks were undefeated in games during which Alleyne posted a double-double.
The Ducks, who were the Pac-12′s best free-throw shooting team at nearly 76% on the season, sunk barely half of their free throws tonight, hitting 12 of 23 from the stripe.
The Bay Area swing won’t get much easier, as the Ducks head to Berkeley to face #23 California at noon. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network, as was tonight’s game.
